& Conditions

Terms and conditions relating to the use of our website are outlined here.

Access to this web site is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers contained in this document (known as "Terms and Conditions"). Your use of, and/or access to, the site constitutes your agreement to the Terms and Conditions.

Lion Medical reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time. Since you are bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should periodically refer to them in this document and elsewhere on the site.

Deposit & Cancellation Charge Policy

At Lion Medical we will require a deposit when you book an appointment. This will be deducted from your invoice for the relevant treatment at your next visit. This payment can be made in the clinic by cash or card. Alternatively, this deposit can be paid by card over the phone. If this appointment is cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice, this payment will be returned.

We understand that things sometimes come up and that you may need to make changes to your appointment. We will always be as flexible as possible with our patients – that’s why the deposit will be refunded if you subsequently cancel the appointment with more than 48 hours’ notice.

However, we reserve the right to retain your deposit in case of late cancellations (any cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice) or showing up late for your appointment. Missed appointments prevent us from scheduling another patient that could benefit from our services. We schedule individual time with each patient to allow us to deliver the quality and personal care that every patient deserves.

Deposit and Cancellation Fee Structure:

  • For Check ups and Consultation, Emergency and Standard hygiene appointments we will take a deposit of €40.
  • For treatments over 1 hour we will take a deposit of €100.
  • For any treatments lasting longer than 2 hours we may take a deposit amounting to half the cost of the total treatment.
  • For specialist appointments (such as implants or specialist endodontics) the deposit required may vary from specialist to specialist, dependent on the stage of the treatment and type of appointment. Full details will be given throughout the treatment plans.

Consent forms:

Certain treatments require completion of a written consent form which must be signed by the patient and/or legal guardian and the dentist. This is in order to explain the treatment, aftercare and any risk to you thoroughly, before any of these treatments are carried out.

Personal Details:

It is very important that you give a full medical history and details of any medication you take. Should these change in any way, it is very important for you to tell us before the treatment/consultation. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform the Lion Medical team of any changes in either personal details and/or their medical history.

Use of Images and X-rays:

Lion Medical may use images and x-rays of your smile and teeth only, for marketing and educational purposes on the Lion Medical website, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and on promotional and educational literature. Your name will never be published, and your identity will never be disclosed. However, if you DO NOT wish for us to use your images and x-rays in this way, please let us know by writing to

Use of patient contact details:

We like to remind our patients of their appointments, when they are due for appointments, and other various important reminders. On this note, you may be periodically contacted by the clinic via phone, text, email or by letter in the post. If you DO NOT wish to be contacted by the clinic by any or all of these means, please let us know by writing to
